Who We Are

Hispanic Federation (HF) is the nation's premier Latino nonprofit membership organization. Founded in 1990, HF supports Hispanic families and strengthens Latino institutions through grantmaking and direct services in the areas of education, health, immigration, civic engagement, economic empowerment, and the environment. Values that drive our work include equality, fairness, diversity, and empathy.

Who We Seek

Hispanic Federation seeks a Grants Accountant to serve as the primary Finance partner for program staff across an assigned portfolio of government and private grants and contracts. The role leads grant budgeting and financial monitoring, prepares and reviews accounting entries, reviews salary and fringe allocations, and ensures that grant-related financial activity is accurate, timely, and supported.

The successful candidate combines strong accounting judgment with the ability to interpret award requirements, analyze complex financial data, identify compliance or reporting risks, and communicate practical corrective actions. The Grants Accountant works closely with program staff, reviews work prepared by the Junior Grants Accountant, and supports the Vice President for Finance and Administration with portfolio analysis, financial reporting, close activities, and audit readiness.
