Director, Accounting Policy

• Research, analyze, and document accounting conclusions for complex and non-routine transactions under U.S. GAAP
• Prepare and maintain accounting memoranda supporting technical positions and policy decisions
• Monitor and help implement new and emerging accounting standards and regulatory guidance
• Partner across Finance, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Operations to evaluate accounting implications of strategic initiatives and new products
• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting, including technical accounting disclosures
• Assist with external audit requests and discussions on significant accounting matters
• Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and governance
• Provide technical accounting guidance and mentorship within the Finance organization
• Participate in special projects, including acquisitions and system implementations

• Strong technical accounting expertise, including U.S. GAAP
• 6+ years of experience.
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience partnering across Finance, Treasury, Legal, and Operations teams
• Experience supporting financial reporting and audit processes
