About Job

As Senior Tax & Filings Specialist for Americas, you own the statutory compliance for the three most

complex payroll jurisdictions in the Western Hemisphere — the United States, Brazil, and Mexico. This is

the highest-volume and highest-complexity filing role in the Taxes and Filings team.

The United States requires management of IRS Form 941 quarterly filings, FICA and FUTA obligations,

and state-level payroll tax compliance across every state where Multiplier's EoR clients have employees

— up to 50 different state frameworks simultaneously. Brazil operates via eSocial — a real-time unified

reporting platform that requires event-level statutory data to be submitted before each payroll run.

Mexico requires a digitally stamped SAT CFDI electronic receipt for every single salary payment made

to every employee, with penalties applied per missing or invalid stamp.

You will be a founding member of the Taxes and Filings team within Multiplier's Payroll Centre of

Excellence — owning the Americas statutory compliance framework from Day 1, with full accountability

for filings, remittances, reconciliations, and notice management across your three Tier 1 countries.

While the Kep responsibilities will primary involve setting up the foundation for the Taxes and

Filings vertical, it will also become your responsibility to convert this into an auto pilot process,

where we ensure zero people driven activities and convert these into a highly efficient process

driven vertical.

Skills & Qualification
  • Americas statutory expertise — you understand Brazil's eSocial event structure, you know

the difference between US deposit schedules, and you understand why a missing CFDI

stamp in Mexico is a critical compliance failure. Your knowledge goes deep.

High-volume management — Americas generates the highest filing volume in the team

organised, systematic, and do not let volume become an excuse for errors.

Bilingual or multilingual capability — Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a significant

advantage for Brazil and Mexico statutory work, where government portals and notices are not

    available in English.

Composure under regulatory pressure — IRS notices, eSocial rejections, and SAT queries require

calm, structured responses. You do not panic; you diagnose and resolve.

  • Technical Skills

    US:
Experience with EFTPS (Electronic Federal Tax Payment System), IRS Online Services, and

multi-state payroll tax portals. Familiarity with ADP, Gusto, Rippling, or similar US payroll

    platforms for tax filing exports.

    Brazil:
Hands-on experience with eSocial web portal event submission, DARF generation via

Receita Federal tools, and FGTS portal management. Experience with Domínio, Totvs Folha, or

    similar Brazil payroll platforms.

    Mexico:
Experience with SAT CFDI generation via a certified PAC provider, IMSS SUA platform

for bi-monthly declarations, and SAT Buzón Tributario for notice management.

Excel proficiency — multi-country payroll data reconciliation across large datasets.

  • Nice to Have

Knowledge of additional Americas jurisdictions — Canada (CRA, CPP, EI, T4 slips), Colombia

(PILA platform), Chile (AFP, SII), or Argentina (AFIP, SIPA).

Experience in an EoR, PEO (Professional Employer Organisation), or global payroll technology

    company.

CPP (Certified Payroll Professional), CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.

Responsibilities
  • Statutory Filing & Remittance

Own every filing and payment for Americas Tier 1 countries — at the highest volume in the team

    United States:
File IRS Form 941 quarterly returns. Process federal tax deposits (FICA — Social

Security 6.2% + Medicare 1.45% — and FUTA) on schedule (monthly or semi-weekly based on

deposit schedule). Manage state income tax withholding remittances for all states where EoR

employees are located. File state unemployment insurance (SUI) returns quarterly across all

applicable states. Issue W-2s to all US EoR employees by 31 January annually. Submit ACA

reporting (Forms 1094-C and 1095-C) where applicable.

    Brazil:
Submit all eSocial events — including S-1200 (payroll…
