Senior Accountant @ Entertainment Company

Coda Search is partnering with a media and entertainment company based in Brooklyn. This is a growing company that is reshaping how media and sports interact and has shown continued growth year over year. The team is looking to hire a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and plays a key role in managing the month-end close, revenue recognition, and enjoys building out processes and procedures.

The team recently signed several major deals over the past few years and is on track for significant growth in 2026 and beyond

• Oversee the month-end close process, managing the balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Assist with analyzing financial statements and preparing variance analysis with commentary
• Manage general ledger reconciliations and prepare journal entries
• Review AR and ensure compliance with ASC 606
• Participate in accounting integrations and acquisitions
• Help lead several special projects across the group and improve processes and procedures
• Support the annual audit by preparing schedules and liaising with external auditors

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of accounting experience (media, entertainment, or high-growth startups a plus)
• Experience with Net Suite is ideal
• Highly analytical with a strong eye for detail and a “get-it-done” attitude
• Clear communicator and team player who thrives in collaborative, creative environments
