About the Opportunity

Well-established commercial real estate firm seeking a CPA-qualified Senior Accountant with strong public accounting audit experience, specifically supporting commercial real estate clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in audit who is looking to make the transition into private industry while leveraging strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and analytical skills within a highly visible finance team.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across a commercial real estate portfolio
• Support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain and review general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial reporting
• Assist with external audit coordination, internal controls, and technical accounting matters
• Partner with property management and operations teams on financial analysis and reporting
• Utilize Yardi for lease, rent, and property financial reporting

• CPA required
• 3+ years of public accounting audit experience
• Must have audited commercial real estate clients
• Looking to transition from public accounting into a private industry accounting role
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
