Overview:

The Manager, Domestic Controllership will support the integrity of financial reporting and internal controls across U.S. operations at Paramount Global. The role partners across finance, business units, and audit team to ensure compliance with accounting standards, strengthen processes, and deliver accurate and timely financial results.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process/cycles

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis

Ensure accurate reporting in accordance with GAAP

Prepare financial reporting and all supporting schedules (disclosures, earnings book, corporate reporting)

Coordinate with internal and external auditors ensuring documentation and enforcement of controls

Collaborate with FP&A, operational teams and audit partners and serve as business partner

Support divisional and segment reporting across all lines of business

Drive automation and efficiency in accounting processes

Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and recommend risk and opportunities

Prepare quarterly and monthly deliverables

Perform all month-end Intercompany confirmations

Ad-hoc requests as needed

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

5+ years' experience with general ledger functions and month end/year end close process

Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), standards, and practice

Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook etc.

Additional Qualifications:

CPA Preferred

Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle

Public accounting and/or entertainment industry experience preferred

Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work both individually and as a member of a team

Solid organization and analytical skills

Accuracy and high attention to detail

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $100,.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.

This position is bonus eligible.
