A growing financial services firm is seeking a Senior Associate – Corporate Accounting to join its corporate accounting team. This role is a strong fit for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, partnering across departments, and taking ownership of complex revenue accounting processes. The position offers exposure to financial reporting, process improvements, and strategic accounting projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage revenue accounting processes, including reconciliations, month-end and quarter-end close activities, and financial reporting.
- Perform accounting research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to support accurate reporting.
- Analyze revenue activity, identify trends, and prepare clear reports for management.
- Partner with finance, tax, operations, and other internal teams to meet reporting deadlines.
- Maintain internal controls and support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with accounting for incentive compensation programs and related financial activity.
- Identify ways to improve accounting processes through automation and better workflows.
- Support system enhancements, acquisitions, and other special projects.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and provide useful financial insights to internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA required.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Public accounting experience is preferred.
- Financial services, investment management, or fund accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation: $175,000 per year
