Location: New York

A growing financial services firm is seeking a Senior Associate – Corporate Accounting to join its corporate accounting team. This role is a strong fit for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, partnering across departments, and taking ownership of complex revenue accounting processes. The position offers exposure to financial reporting, process improvements, and strategic accounting projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage revenue accounting processes, including reconciliations, month-end and quarter-end close activities, and financial reporting.
  • Perform accounting research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to support accurate reporting.
  • Analyze revenue activity, identify trends, and prepare clear reports for management.
  • Partner with finance, tax, operations, and other internal teams to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain internal controls and support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with accounting for incentive compensation programs and related financial activity.
  • Identify ways to improve accounting processes through automation and better workflows.
  • Support system enhancements, acquisitions, and other special projects.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and provide useful financial insights to internal teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA required.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Public accounting experience is preferred.
  • Financial services, investment management, or fund accounting experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: $175,000 per year
