Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to support daily financial operations for a growing organization in Farmingdale, New York. This role is ideal for someone who can manage the full bookkeeping cycle with accuracy, maintain organized records, and contribute to efficient office administration. The position also requires comfort working with Excel and assisting with HR-related administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee complete day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including maintaining the general ledger and ensuring financial records remain current and accurate.
• Process vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner while monitoring outstanding obligations and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage customer billing and collections, track incoming payments, and keep receivable balances up to date.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy and support month-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, summaries, and spreadsheets to provide clear visibility into business performance.
• Utilize an ERP system to record transactions, organize financial data, and support reliable reporting processes.
• Maintain payroll and employee-related records while assisting with HR administrative duties in compliance with company procedures.
• Support process improvements and operational updates related to accounting workflows when needed.
