Location: New York

Seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to assist with financial reporting, month-end activities, and process improvement initiatives. This position partners with the finance team to prepare accurate financial information, enhance reporting workflows, and support automation and special projects. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting principles and prior experience within financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries and recurring financial reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP while meeting established deadlines.
  • Assist with intercompany accounting, consolidation activities, and the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  • Help maintain effective internal controls and support audit requests from internal auditors, external auditors, and regulatory examiners.
  • Participate in finance transformation initiatives, including process improvements and reporting automation.
  • Stay current on accounting and financial reporting standards, implementing changes as needed.
  • Support special projects and provide assistance with additional finance-related requests as they arise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting concepts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Previous experience within the financial services industry is a plus.
  • CPA designation or progress toward certification is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
