Accountant – Workday

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure financial records reflect the company’s business transactions comprehensively.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Collaborate with other team members to support various accounting projects and initiatives

• Maintain and manage General Ledgers.

• Proven experience in managing General Ledgers.
• Strong analytical skills to handle large volumes of data with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively collaborate within the team and present financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best accounting practices.

• 3-5 years preferred experience in the insurance industry
• Workday expertise

• Organizational skills
