Revenue Accountant

We re looking for a Revenue Accountant to join a thriving and market leading international media and marketing services agency.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong accounting foundation and experience in revenue accounting who is looking to expand their technical accounting knowledge.

• Review client contracts and determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with IFRS 15
• Analyze revenue-related balance sheet accounts, including accrued revenue and deferred revenue
• Review aged revenue-related balance sheet accounts and follow up with Finance Business Partners to obtain commentary and resolve outstanding items
• Evaluate contracts for principal vs. agent accounting considerations
• Validate that revenue recognized is supported by underlying contractual documentation and project support
• Assist with month-end close activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve revenue-related issues
• Support internal and external audit requests related to revenue

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to revenue accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (ASC 606) and experience applying revenue recognition guidance in a corporate environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Net Suite and Salesforce is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
