Brooklyn, NY (Onsite, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM)

$70K – $100K (Depending on Experience)

A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accounting operations of approximately 8 facilities. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants broad exposure to financial reporting, audits, reconciliations, and multi-entity accounting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting
• Experience with month-end close and bank reconciliations
• Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Healthcare or multi-entity accounting experience is a plus

• Perform month-end close for multiple facilities
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor balances
• Prepare financial reports and lender reporting
• Support annual audits and government reporting
• Investigate payroll discrepancies with the payroll team
• Partner with AP and AR to resolve accounting issues
• Assist with HUD lending requirements and special projects
• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
• General ledger and reconciliation experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
