Position Summary

Start Elevator is looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee the company’s accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoices, payment collection, account reconciliation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of five Accounts Receivable staff members, including assigning work, providing guidance, and monitoring performance
  • Oversee all accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, collections, credit memos, account adjustments, and customer account reconciliations.
  • Review aging reports, identify delinquent accounts, and elevate collection concerns when necessary.
  • Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports for management.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable balances and support month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Work closely with the Accounting, Operations, and Sales teams to resolve customer billing and payment matters.
  • Use Quick Books to manage customer accounts, invoices, payments, reporting, and reconciliations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience, preferably in accounts receivable, accounting, or finance.
  • Proficiency in Quick Books is required.
  • Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be self-directed and able to begin work effectively with minimal training.

Salary 120K- negotiable based on experience.
