Position SummaryThe Accounting Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting function for multiple affiliated entities. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, monthly closing activities, financial reporting, and compliance while supporting continuous process improvements. The position also assists with special projects and performs additional duties as assigned by senior management.
Education- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of general bookkeeping principles and accounting practices.
- Excellent numerical accuracy and analytical skills.
- Ability to prepare routine financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Record vendor invoices in the general ledger.
- Process vendor payments accurately and on time.
- Prepare Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reports.
- Coordinate invoice approvals with department managers.
- Record customer invoices and payments in the general ledger.
- Maintain schedules for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, loans, and accrued expenses.
- Post journal entries to the accounting system.
- Execute and review monthly closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
- Prepare and oversee consolidated financial statements.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for headquarters.
- Perform Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet fluctuation analyses.
- Provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Review accounting procedures and recommend operational improvements.
- Enhance accounting system functionality and efficiency.
- Support accounting activities for multiple affiliated entities.
- Participate in special projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Serve as an accounting resource for the department and broader organization.
- Coordinate authorized access for clients, vendors, and visitors in accordance with company security policies.
- Assist with visitor arrangements and business travel coordination.
