Gogo Jeans is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance & Accounting Associate to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience in accounting, finance, and business operations within a fast-paced fashion and wholesale environment.
The Finance & Accounting Associate will support our accounting and operations teams with day-to-day financial transactions, purchase orders, invoicing, recordkeeping, and general administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Create and maintain new style numbers in Quick Books
- Create and enter Purchase Orders (POs) in Quick Books
- Review and verify container and freight-related invoices for accuracy
- Enter container invoices and vendor bills into Quick Books
- Review and verify warehouse/storage bills
- Prepare assignments and supporting documentation as required
- Create and process customer invoices in Quick Books
- Assist with maintaining accurate and organized financial records
- Send meeting notes, recaps, and follow-up information to overseas factories
- File and organize Purchase Orders and related documentation
- Update PO information, statuses, and related records in
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure information and documentation are accurate and up to date
- Identify discrepancies in invoices, bills, or documentation and elevate them when necessary
- Assist the Finance & Accounting team with additional accounting, administrative, and office-related tasks as needed
- Bachelor's degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Entry-level candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with numbers, invoices, and financial documentation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
- Experience with Quick Books is preferred but not required
- Experience with or similar project-management software is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
