Location: New York

THIS ROLE WILL BE ONSITE 5 DAYS PER WEEK IN MANHATTAN.

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Auditor with 3 to 5 years of experience ideally with a focus on manufacturing and industrial clients.

The successful candidate will lead audit engagements, assess internal control environments, and contribute to delivering high-quality assurance services. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with exposure to a broad range of clients and audit challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead the execution of financial statement audits in accordance with auditing standards US GAAS – ISA.
  • Focus on engagements in the manufacturing sector, understanding the operational and financial reporting nuances specific to the industry.
  • Identify control weaknesses and areas of risk; propose actionable recommendations to improve operational and financial integrity.
  • Supervise audit teams, delegate work effectively, and provide mentorship to junior staff and associates.
  • Perform detailed reviews of work papers and draft financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain strong, proactive communication with clients, ensuring expectations and timelines are clear and met.
  • Research and apply relevant accounting guidance (US GAAP, IFRS where applicable) and audit methodology.
  • Stay current on industry developments, emerging audit technologies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting and finance.
  • 3–5 years of public accounting or relevant audit experience, with demonstrated exposure to manufacturing clients.
  • Solid understanding of audit planning, execution, risk assessment, and internal controls.
  • Experience in using audit software tools (e.g. CCH Pro System fx, or similar).
  • Strong accounting knowledge and flexibility to assist accounting departments.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and lead small teams.
Language Skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required for effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
