A well-established CPA and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join its Architecture, Engineering & Construction practice. This individual will lead audit fieldwork, support client relationships, and supervise junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute financial statement audits for AEC clients.
- Test financial statements, internal controls, and transactional data.
- Address industry-specific areas such as revenue recognition, contract accounting, and percentage-of-completion accounting.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
- Supervise and review the work of junior staff.
- Manage engagement timelines and budgets.
- Identify opportunities to improve audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of public accounting audit experience.
- AEC or construction industry experience preferred.
- CPA or progress toward CPA licensure strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
- Strong communication, analytical, and client-service skills.
