Financial Intake Director

A fast-growing bookkeeping firm specializing in e-commerce businesses is seeking a Financial Intake Director to lead the intake of new client accounts. From the moment a client signs on, you'll take ownership of the onboarding process, learning their business, understanding their financial operations, implementing them into systems, and ensuring a seamless transition to the team of bookkeepers.

• Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients from signed agreement through successful handoff.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
• Develop a thorough understanding of each client's business model, financial operations, and bookkeeping needs.
• Gather financial records, account access, historical accounting data, and other required onboarding information.
• Set up new clients within the company's proprietary software and internal systems.
• Train assigned bookkeepers on each client's business, financial workflows, systems, and expectations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition into ongoing bookkeeping services.
• Manage multiple onboarding projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and enhance the overall client experience.

• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, bookkeeping principles, and business operations.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to build trust with clients.
• Highly organized with outstanding project management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Quick Books Online.
• Experience working with e-commerce businesses.
