- Perform a wide variety of research, compliance, auditing, and consulting tasks in the Government Consulting Department
- Develop basic technical skills in applicable program and contract areas of practice
- Learn and apply Medicare contract examination and agreed-upon procedures concepts
- Apply sampling and testing methodology to Medicare examinations, agreed-upon procedures, and desk/compliance assignments
- Perform assigned tasks in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner
- Complete standard working papers and prepare documentation
- Prepare documents in Case Ware or Box, including appropriate forms and templates
- Outline problems and issues to the Team Lead or supervisor to help develop solutions
- Promptly inform supervisors of issues encountered
- Meet quality and time constraints while completing assigned tasks
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in Accounting or CPA firm or professional services environment preferred
- Ability to develop basic technical skills in applicable program and contract areas
- Understanding of Medicare contract work, including examinations and agreed-upon procedures
- Understanding of sampling and testing methodology for Medicare examinations, agreed-upon procedures, and desk/compliance assignments
- Ability to complete standard working papers and develop working paper documentation skills
- Ability to prepare documents in Case Ware or Box with minimal assistance
- Ability to learn and become proficient in Excel, Word, Case Ware, Box, Smartsheet, and other applicable programs
- Candidates must pass a background check as part of the hiring process
- Ability to communicate professionally and promptly in writing and verbally
- Ability to manage multiple commitments and deadlines, adjust schedules, and report problems and progress
- Ability to perform precise, detail-oriented work and adapt to ongoing change
Demonstrates proficiency in Medicare contract examination, sampling and testing methodology, and the preparation of working papers. Capable of managing multiple commitments while ensuring timely and accurate completion of compliance and auditing tasks.
