Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Consolidations & Compliance
  :
  Review regional financial statements and multi-entity consolidations in accordance with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements
• Team Leadership
  :
  Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals while supporting operational excellence across the finance function
• Technical Accounting
  :
  Resolve complex accounting matters related to revenue recognition, intercompany activity, allocations, leases, and fixed assets
• Process Improvement & Automation
  :
  Partner with FP&A, Finance Systems, and senior leadership to improve reporting accuracy, streamline workflows, and reduce manual processes
• Audit & External Relationships
  :
  Serve as key liaison with external auditors and support annual audits and regulatory requirements
• Budgeting & Forecasting
  :
  Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning initiatives across global operations
• Strategic Initiatives
  :
  Contribute to broader finance transformation projects and support special initiatives for executive leadership and the CFO

• Education
  :
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred, MST a plus
• Experience
  : 8–12 years of corporate accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and industry experience, ideally within a global private equity-backed organization
• M&A Expertise
  :
  Strong experience with acquisition accounting, purchase price allocations, post-close integration, and business combinations
• Technical Skills
  :
  Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and multi-currency accounting operations
• Systems
  :
  Experience with Net Suite strongly preferred
• Industry Exposure
  :
  Background within advertising, media, communications, or professional services industries is a plus
