Financial Controller

This is not a “keep the lights on” role. This is a build-the-engine role.

A fast-growing energy & infrastructure developer is hiring a Senior Manager Accounting & Finance leader to take ownership of the accounting and finance function as the business scales across the US.

If you enjoy complex projects, real assets, investor scrutiny, and getting things done properly, keep reading.

You’ll sit at the centre of the business, owning:

• Full accounting operations and month-end close
• Financial controls, reporting, and audit readiness
• Cash flow forecasting, project-level analysis, and decision support
• Partnering closely with the CEO, investors, lenders, and external advisors
• Bringing previously outsourced finance work in-house and tightening the operation

This is hands-on, high-impact and visible. You’ll be trusted to run with it.

• CPA (or equivalent) with strong technical accounting foundations
• Background in Big 4 audit + industry experience
• Comfortable with complex transactions, project-based accounting and debt
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, construction, project finance, or other capital-intensive environments is a big plus
• Prior experience reducing reliance on third-party advisors or consultants advantageous

• Senior seat with genuine influence
• Exposure to investors and financing partners
• Clear runway as the company grows
• Competitive base salary $180,000 – $200,000 plus meaningful upside
• Work that results in real, physical infrastructure, not just slide decks
