Senior Tax Accountant

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a unique Long Island-based CPA firm that prides itself on high quality work along with a focus on the well‑being and work life balance of its people, is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant. This role will be responsible for reviewing and preparing federal, state and local income tax returns for businesses and individuals. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will develop and maintain solid client relationships while working on challenging assignments.

• Degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of recent public accounting experience — CPA and or EA preferred
• Able to utilize and develop an advanced understanding of various tax programs and software
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, and as part of a team
