Director of Accounting, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a high-caliber accounting leader for a Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer
. In this position, you will oversee SEC reporting, technical accounting, consolidations, audit coordination, and financing/transaction-related reporting activities.

• SEC Leadership: Own and lead all SEC reporting activities, including the preparation and filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and related disclosures.
• Technical Accounting: Serve as the subject matter expert for technical accounting policies and complex U.S. GAAP matters.
• Consolidations: Lead the consolidation process across multiple entities and business units (utilizing Net Suite).
• Audit Coordination: Manage external audit relationships and coordinate quarterly and annual audits.
• Team Management: Directly manage, mentor, and develop the SEC reporting team

• Active CPA certification is required.
• Dual
  
  Experience:
  
  A proven mix of public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) and corporate industry experience.
• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of SEC reporting frameworks, technical accounting research, and multi-entity consolidations.
• Systems:
  
  Experience with
  Net Suite is highly preferred.
• Leadership Style: Collaborative partner capable of working across international business lines (including our Canada data center team).
