Director of Accounting

LHH is supporting a well-renowned client in the Non-Profit space who is seeking an Interim Director of Accounting. This role will be on an open-ended contract basis. This opportunity could require some in-office work in Manhattan, NY. Prior industry experience is required.

• Oversee all accounting functions, including grants accounting, treasury, internal audit, etc.
• Lead month end close processes
• Manage financial statement preparation under GAAP standards
• Oversee preparation of Form 990 report
• Manage cash flow and banking relationships
• Lead process improvement
• Assist with long-term financial planning
• Manage growing accounting team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA highly preferred
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Net Suite is a plus;
  Strong Excel skills required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $80 - $105/hr, depending on experience.
