Financial Controller

A growing, entrepreneurial company is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and help scale the finance function for future growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in a small-company environment, enjoys rolling up their sleeves, and has experience building processes, driving efficiencies, and supporting strategic initiatives.

• Oversee all accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Ensure compliance with sales tax and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage the company's accounting processes and internal controls.
• Lead financial systems and process improvement initiatives, including system implementations and upgrades.
• Partner with leadership to support business growth, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers.
• Build and develop the accounting team as the company continues to grow.

• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Prior experience in a subscription-based business model required.
• Experience working in a small, entrepreneurial companies where a hands-on approach is essential.
• Proven success leading or playing a key role in an ERP or system implementation

• Strong knowledge of sales tax compliance and tax oversight
  .
• Leadership experience with the ability to build and mentor teams.
• CPA preferred.
