Interim Accounts Payable (AP) Manager

We are currently seeking candidates for an Interim Accounts Payable Manager at a manufacturing company headquartered in New York, NY, 10104. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of accounts payable management experience processing high-volume invoices and supplier set-ups and check/wire requests.

This role is a 4–6-month temporary assignment (with an opportunity to become permanent) that will pay between $50.00 and $65.00 per hour (based on relevant work experience) within a 40-hour work week.

Schedule:

Remote 4 days, On-site 1 day per week.

Starts September 16th, 2026.

• Review and/or process a high volume of invoices
• Maintain invoice volume and cycle time accuracy goals
• Accurately code (General Ledger) and enter invoices for payment
• Work with suppliers to resolve account discrepancies and payment issues
• High-volume preparation of weekly payments
• ACH/check/wire requests
• Reconcile accounts payable
• Reconcile bank statements
• Journal and adjust entries
• Work with suppliers/vendors to resolve account discrepancies and payment issues

• Bachelor’s Degree required, concentration in accounting preferred
• 3+ years of accounts payable management experience
• Recent experience with large accounting systems is required
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Accuracy and attention to detail are a must
• Ability to multitask
