Accounting Operations Associate

The team is lean, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative, this role offers direct interaction with senior investment professionals and leadership.

The firm is seeking a Fund Accountant / Investment Operations Associate to support a broad range of accounting, operations, reporting, and compliance functions. Reporting directly to the firm's finance leader, this individual will gain hands-on exposure to virtually every aspect of the fund's back-office operations and help build scalable processes as the organization grows.

• Perform daily cash reconciliations and monitor cash activity across multiple accounts
• Assist with trade settlement processes and investment operations activities
• Support monthly and quarterly NAV preparation and fund accounting activities
• Prepare compliance and regulatory reporting schedules
• Assist with SEC filings, including 13D reporting requirements
• Coordinate with external administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and service providers
• Support preparation of tax work papers and fund-related tax reporting
• Assist with management reporting and ad hoc analysis
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Participate in special projects as the firm continues to scale

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Approximately 1 - 2+ years of relevant experience
• Background from public accounting, fund accounting, financial services, or investment operations preferred
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Willingness to take ownership and wear multiple hats
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Base salary: $90,000 - $105,000+ (flexible for exceptional candidates)
