Tax Director – Private Client Services

• Review tax projections, tax work papers, and tax returns, specifically federal and state individual and fiduciary tax returns
• Oversee and manage the tax return process, including identifying and resolving tax issues
• Mentor, train, and manage staff accountants to meet deadlines and prioritize workload
• Manage multiple tax engagements in team environments and independently
• Identify opportunities for new or expanded client services
• Lead and manage engagements, including budgeting, billing, and engagement economics
• Provide highly proactive client service
• Serve private clients, family-owned businesses, closely held businesses, and high net worth individuals through the Private Client Services practice

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required
• Public accounting experience
• CPA
• 10+ years work experience in tax compliance, specializing in entity and individual taxation
• Experience with corporation and partnership accounting and tax concepts
• Master’s degree in tax or equivalent field preferred

Demonstrates expertise in tax compliance and management, with a strong focus on federal and state individual and fiduciary tax returns. Proven ability to mentor staff, manage multiple engagements, and provide exceptional client service to high net worth individuals and businesses.
