Job Summary. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk/Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will support our accounting operations and administrative functions..
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting customers..
- Sort and review freight invoices for payment, disputing them as necessary to resolve billing discrepancies..
- Handle basic data entry and maintain an accurate invoicing database..
- Support general administrative and office duties as assigned..
- Monitor customer accounts, generate statements, and contact customers via phone or email regarding past due balances and payments..
- Work with customers to establish payment arrangements where necessary..
- High School Diploma or equivalent required..
- Experience in administrative and office support..
- Previous Accounts Receivable and/or collections experience is a plus..
- Proficiency in Quick Books, Sage, or other accounting software is required..
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)..
- Strong organizational skills..
- Ability to multitask and prioritize..
- Reliable, professional, and a team player..
- Bilingual is a plus (Spanish).

Pay:
From $18.00 per hour. Expected hours: 35.0 per week.
