Our client, a leading finance firm based in NYC, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain broad exposure across multiple areas of the accounting function while working in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Responsibilities- Support the full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Assist with cash management and daily cash activity
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account analysis
- Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple entities
- Research and resolve discrepancies and outstanding items
- Assist with general ledger maintenance and financial reporting
- Support the accounting team with ad hoc projects and analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
