I'm working with a well-established, growing CPA firm on Long Island looking to add an Tax and Accounting Manager to its team. They offer the variety and sophistication of a full-service firm in a close-knit environment where Managers work directly with Partners, build lasting relationships with business owners, and gain exposure well beyond tax compliance. You’ll advise closely held companies across industries on accounting, tax planning, business changes, and succession;

not get siloed into one narrow specialty.

• Managing accounting and tax engagements for privately held businesses
• Reviewing partnership, S Corp, C Corp, and individual tax returns
• Reviewing financial statements and underlying accounting records
• Year-round tax planning and business advisory
• Exposure to sales & use tax and federal/state tax examinations
• Advising clients on entity structure, business changes, and succession planning
• Reviewing staff work and mentoring junior team members
• Working directly with Partners and business owners

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong experience with closely held/private businesses
• Combination of accounting and business tax experience
• Prior review and client management experience

• $130,000-$200,000 total comp, based on experience
