Vice Presicent of Finance and Accounting

Our client is seeking a hands-on finance leader to oversee accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, and internal controls while helping scale a growing organization. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership while remaining actively involved in day-to-day finance operations, process improvements, and systems optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management activities.
• Oversee accounting operations, audits, tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Develop scalable financial processes and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner with leadership to deliver financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team of approximately five professionals.
• Collaborate with operational and technology teams to improve financial systems, data integrity, and business performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience leading accounting, reporting, audit, tax, and FP&A functions.
• Background in high-volume or operationally complex environments.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Net Suite.
• Prior experience in private equity-backed, investor-backed, or high-growth organizations is a plus.
