Well-positioned fashion apparel company with a rich history is seeking a Sr. Staff Accountant to join a growing Finance team. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, perform monthly analysis, reconciliations, and prepare closing entries to support financial reporting.
FASION APPAREL EXPERIENCE a MUST!
Responsibilities:- Perform account reconciliations
- Conduct expense analysis
- Review monthly and year-end inventory cut offs
- Prepare royalty reporting
- Assist with month-end closing of financial statements
- Prepare ad hoc reports as needed
- Work with outside auditors and tax preparers
- Handle other general accounting duties as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for a background in the apparel industry or consumer soft goods
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and proficiency in Word
- Detail oriented with a commitment and drive to accurately complete work within schedule
- Highly communicative and collaborative with the ability to work independently when needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Displays responsible and professional behavior
$$$~100K + Bonus & great Benefits
