Bookkeeper – Packard Cabinetry

Packard Cabinetry, a family-owned custom cabinetry company established in 1974, is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented bookkeeper to keep our financial records accurate and current across our New York and North Carolina operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain records in Quick Books Desktop Enterprise.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor bills, client deposits, progress payments, and final balances.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
• Track signed contracts, retainers received, and outstanding client balances.
• Prepare clear reports showing monthly sales, expenses, and upcoming cash needs.
• Coordinate with our owners, designers, and outside accountant to resolve discrepancies and maintain complete records.

Qualifications

• Prior bookkeeping experience and strong proficiency with Quick Books Desktop;
  Enterprise experience preferred.
• Excellent organization, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Comfortable tracking deposits and payments for individual projects.
• Experience with a construction, remodeling, or design business is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information and communicate clearly with a small team.
