Beacon Hill is partnering with a nonprofit organization in Manhattan seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. If you have 2+ years of experience, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities- Process accounts payable invoices and payments
- Support accounts receivable ac tivities, including payment application and reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Handle ACH, wire, and check transactions
- Assist with collections and outstanding account follow-up
- Maintain accurate vendor and financial records
- Support month-end close and related accounting activities
- Utilize Excel and accounting systems to manage financial data
- Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as needed
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience;
Accounts Receivable experience a plus - Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems
