Key Responsibilities for the Temporary Staff Accountant:
- Perform accounts receivable reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Complete monthly and ongoing bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Research and investigate account variances to ensure accuracy
- Assist with cash application and payment tracking activities
- Support the accounting team with general ledger and month-end activities as needed
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a staff accountant or related role
- Strong experience with accounts receivable and bank reconciliations
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting software systems
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
