Fund Accountant & Operations Associate - PE Leader

You will have the opportunity to help a top PE fund firm that is rapidly growing. You will be working out of their NYC office (5x in the office).

• Help with the close, journal entries, GL, etc.
• Capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, the NAV, etc.
• Assist with daily P&L reporting process (confirms, booking trade activity, derivative settlements, payments)
• Cash, trade and position reconciliations (products include equities, futures, swaps, options, FX and other derivatives) with counter parties and administrator
• Frequent communication with fund administrator
• Assist in other processes relating to month-end close
• Invoice review and wire entry
• Assist in preparation and review of audited/unaudited financial statements
• Assist with preparation and review of regulatory reporting requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or accounting
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the accounting field
