Salary Range: $58,594.00 To $65,290.31 Annually
Responsibilities- Preparation and filing Of accounts payable vouchers (includes coding and vendor payments)
- Posting of transactions in the general ledger system
- Follow-up on vendor related matters when necessary
- Assist with preparation of Providers' contracts
- Assist with tracking inventory for grant reporting
- Assist with tracking Non-Federal share for grant reporting and audit purposes
- Assist with the Form 1099 filing at calendar year end
- Assist with preparation for annual audit Reconciling accounts payable balances at Fiscal year end
- One to two years' experience in bookkeeping or Non-Profit accounting with a minimum Of an Associate Degree, Bachelors preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft, Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail
- Works well with others to build positive environments
- Provides friendly, patient technical assistance to Head Start staff regarding reimbursements and purchasing procedures
- Maintains positive, professional and collaborative relationships with vendors when handling invoices and resolve billing discrepancies calmly
