We are looking for an Accountant to join the team and support day-to-day accounting operations, with a strong focus on bank reconciliations and cash activity
. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with large volumes of financial data.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations
- Review bank activity and reconcile transactions to the general ledger
- Research and resolve outstanding or unreconciled items
- Post journal entries and accounting adjustments
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Reconcile various balance sheet accounts
- Review cash receipts, disbursements, ACH, wires, and other bank transactions
- Investigate discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Assist with financial reporting and other accounting projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong experience with bank reconciliations
- Understanding of general ledger accounting and journal entries
