David Yurman – Poduct Costing & Analytics Analyst
David Yurman is seeking a Product Costing & Analytics Analyst to support accurate, timely, and data-driven product costing throughout the development and production lifecycle. This role validates cost components, analyzes pricing and margin variances, maintains costing data, and partners with internal teams and vendors to ensure product costs are complete and consistent.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to work confidently with complex datasets, cost sheets, Bills of Material, purchase orders, invoices, and reporting systems.
Location: New York, New York

• Estimated base salary of $85,000-$98,000.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to review high-volume costing, pricing, BOM, purchase order, and invoice data for accuracy and inconsistencies.
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with large datasets, formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and analytical reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment when investigating unusual cost changes and discrepancies.
• Ability to work proactively and independently while contributing as a collaborative team member.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PLM, Sigma, Qiwk, Jira, or similar product lifecycle and reporting systems.
• Knowledge of jewelry materials, components, production processes, and/or product costing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate product costing information, including cost sheets, BOMs, purchase orders, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Evaluate purchase order price change requests, investigate discrepancies, and work with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve pricing or documentation issues.
• Analyze variances between show costing, development costing, final production costing, and post-production updates.
• Maintain costing data, cost charts, and related reporting to support business analysis and decision-making.
• Use Excel, Sigma, PLM, Qiwk reports, Jira, and other systems to maintain data, generate reports, and identify inconsistencies.
• Develop an understanding of David Yurman jewelry components, materials, labor, finishing instructions, and product construction to accurately evaluate cost structures.
• Review calculations, pricing inputs, and supporting information for accuracy before submission.
• Communicate costing updates, discrepancies, and required actions to Product Development, Procurement, Merchandising, Production, vendors, and other partners.
• Prioritize competing tasks and monitor deadlines while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness as business needs evolve.
