AVP, Financial Reporting Tax

A Global Bank is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an AVP, of Financial Reporting Tax Support.

• Support the preparation of current and deferred tax provisions, tax disclosures, and related financial reporting schedules.
• Coordinate tax reporting for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including entity-level and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with the Tax team to gather and validate information for tax returns, withholding, and other applicable filings.
• Track tax reporting deadlines and help ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare tax work papers and reconciliations, maintaining clear support for reported balances and tax positions.
• Respond to internal and external audit requests by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations of tax processes.
• Maintain a clear audit trail between source data, tax calculations, financial statements, and filings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of corporate tax compliance and reporting experience.
• Experience supporting tax provisions, financial statement disclosures, and tax return preparation.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP tax reporting requirements and related accounting processes.
• Experience preparing tax work papers, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Strong Excel, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
