Overview

Resident Assistant/Student Experience Worker - Part Time (10 - 20 hours per week)

Kings Education is seeking a Part Time Student Experience Resident Assistant/Office Intern to support administrative duties and contribute to a high level of student satisfaction with regard to all student experience. Schedule includes Saturdays and Sundays (2 - 4 hours) with flexible hours Monday through Friday (2 - 5 hours per day, during regular business hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm).

ASAP.

Responsibilities
  • Check students in and out of rooms, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Provide a welcoming introduction and campus tour for new students.
  • Coordinate with campus facilities or outside cleaning service to ensure rooms are clean and set up for new student arrivals; assist with washing beddings and quick room turnover as needed.
  • Support students with maintenance requests and address general student needs.
  • Engage with students in dorms to understand concerns and ensure compliance with Kings Education Rules; communicate contacts for issues/concerns.
  • Greet office visitors, answer phones and check emails; assist with basic administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with creating monthly calendars for student activities based on campus, neighborhood, and NYC offerings; organize and chaperone activities when needed.
  • Inventory items for student activities and maintain relationships with students to support engagement.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Problem solving skills and proactive, initiative-taking mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with international students.
  • Ability to work on weekends.
  • Current student of CMSV (college/venue context as applicable).

Skills, Knowledge & Ability
  • 1-2 years of campus office experience (preferred)
  • Experience working with international students (preferred)
Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings with moderate physical activity.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
