Position SummaryWe have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Coordinator - Hospital Operations.
In this role, the successful candidate as the Project Coordinator will support Hospital Operations by contributing to the development, implementation and success of hospital‑wide programs and operational initiatives.
Job Responsibilities- Assemble and maintain project plans and documentation of project and/or program progress
- Coordinate enterprise-communication with impacted areas, serves as an advisor across campuses as related projects arise
- Able to balance diverse opinions from all levels of while managing to project results for the good of the organization
- Build and promote constructive working relationships with all stakeholders, using good judgement to provide objective recommendations
- Prepare and deliver presentations, analyses, and recommendations for process improvement.
- Assists in the development of all new programs and projects as directed by Hospital Operations
- Assists in the development and execution of stated goals and objectives for Hospital Operations
- Perform ad hoc data analysis to support project planning as needed
- Recognizing routine problems and recommending suggestions, ideas, and solutions.
- Organizing, prioritizing, and expediting departmental workflows
- Gathers, enters, and/or updates data to maintain reports and databases, as appropriate
- Facilitate project team meetings by providing administrative support as needed, including setting meeting objectives/agendas, noting key decisions, and following up on action items
- Use standardized project management tools to track key milestones, owners, and target completion dates
- Performs other duties as assigned.
To qualify you must have a Bachelor degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to Project/Program manage and to multi‑task while paying attention to details.
