Administrative Coordinator - Cardiothoracic
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting administrative activities for divisional initiatives, while ensuring efficient administrative operations in an independent manner. Provides administrative support in the assigned department(s), including, but not limited to: calendar management, schedule appointments, schedule or coordinate meetings and events, and order supplies. Prepares meeting agenda; preparing documents, spreadsheets and presentation slides; distributes information packages required for meetings.
Setting up conference room. Takes and prepares minutes of meetings. Following up on meeting-generated tasks. Assists in maintaining and monitoring the budget allocations. Prepare and process invoices, check request, purchase orders, travel expenditures etc. Prepare financial reports as needed.
This is a full-time day shift position 8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, located at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Preferred Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working in Cardiology or Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Experience working in EPIC
Required Criteria
- GED or High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting working directly with patients
- Minimum of 3 years of experience providing administrative support to physicians
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with health insurance billing processes and obtaining insurance authorizations

Salary Range:
$66,300-$89,000/Annual
