Global Law Firm is seeking an experienced Managing Clerk to lead the Managing Clerk’s Office and support litigation teams across New York and other offices. This is a high‑visibility role overseeing filings, calendaring, court operations, and procedural strategy across federal and New York courts.
What You’ll Do:- Lead staffing, workflow, training, and quality control for the Managing Clerk’s Office
- Oversee and execute e‑filings in PACER/Next Gen, CM/ECF, NYSCEF, EDDS, File&Serve, and appellate courts
- Manage Milana docketing, calendaring, audits, and protocols
- Review filings for accuracy and compliance; oversee service (electronic & hand service)
- Monitor court rules, judge practices & docket activity; implement updates
- Advise attorneys on filing strategy, timing, deadlines & procedural risks
- Liaise with courts, vendors, co‑counsel & clients
- Handle attorney admissions, registrations & account linking
- Drive technology improvements and partner with IT on templates/tools
- 7+ years Managing Clerk’s Office experience, including team leadership
- Strong judgment under pressure & ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- Proficiency with Milana, Microsoft Office, iManage
