Location: New York

Responsible for the day-to-day administration and implementation of those policies, procedures and programs supporting the NY portfolio. The Assistant Property Manager will be assigned to specified action areas at the discretion of the market leader, so as to best meet the needs of the properties.

This position will be in office in midtown NYC.

Essential

Job Duties may include:
  • Enter and code vendor invoices into MRI and/or Yardi systems.
  • May coordinate maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the assigned property
  • Bank deposits for property accounts at a local bank.
  • May be engaged in the selection of contract services, vendor negotiations for service agreements, and day-to-day monitoring of vendor performance to assure full compliance with standards established within the respective service agreements

Coordinate with Property Managersinproperty -relateddocumentsadministration-memoranda,letters,monthly reports, proposals, and other projects from draft using company software packages such as spreadsheets, word processing and graphics. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of documents.

May participate in transitioning new properties that are onboarding.

  • May be involved in the administration of tenant leases to assure full compliance with lease provisions. May also participate in the timely determination of escalations, timely collection of all rents, and for participating in appropriate action to lease available space within the buildings
  • May participate in the day-to-day financial management of the properties with specific attention to accounts receivable, collection activities, maintenance of accounts payable on a current basis (taking advantage of discounts wherever possible), and the maintenance of all necessary financial records and files in an accurate and timely manner
  • May perform other duties as assigned

  • Participate in various meetings and training activities as designated by the Property Manager and/or higher level management
QUALIFICATIONS Skills,

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years previous property/facilities management experience
  • Working knowledge of MRI, Yardi or other property management invoicing systems
  • Experience in Lease Administration is strongly desired.
  • Experience in and working knowledge of business/office administration
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, with ability to produce communications and other materials that are effective and of a professional nature
  • Computer proficiency with strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Ability to learn new and business specific, software programs as needed
Salary Range Language

The expectedratefor this position ranges from $80,000 to $85,000 hourly. The actual hourly rate will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to the hourly rateand a competitive benefits package(including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity,etc.)
