Our client is looking to fill the role of Sales Assistant. The Sales Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to a fast‑paced Sales Operations team within the Advertising Sales organization. This role requires a highly organized, detail‑oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively across all levels, and support day‑to‑day sales activities. Entertainment or media industry experience is a plus but not required.

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Duration:
February 9, 2026 – August 7, 2026
Hourly Rate: 30-33
Extension:
Possible, based on business needs
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Operations team, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, and email coordination
- Manage phone traffic and serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external inquiries
- Prepare, update, and format PowerPoint presentations and Excel reports for sales leadership and account executives
- Assist with data updates, outreach tracking, and standard sales reporting
- Track and submit expense reports and coordinate travel details as needed
- Support front desk coverage, including answering calls and handling office inquiries
- Order and manage office supplies to ensure the Chicago office is fully stocked
- Attend weekly internal and cross‑platform sales meetings and capture meeting notes when required
- Design and update quarterly fact sheets and sales materials to support business development efforts
- Assist with ad hoc projects and operational tasks to support the overall sales team
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience
- At least 1–2 years of experience supporting a sales or marketing team preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Computer literate and comfortable learning new systems and tools
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to think strategically and multitask
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in advertising, media, or entertainment environments
