Summary
The Client Relations Assistant provides administrative and organizational support to the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist with answering phones and responding to external inquiries, as well as scheduling internal and external meetings for the Client Relations team.
- Maintain calendars of honors and award submission deadlines across practice groups; organize internal database in iManage, coordinate participation, and track results.
- Update and maintain important contact information via CRM/Inter Action, such as contact updates, creation of marketing lists, tagging client activities, adding new clients, etc.
- Ensure new clients are added to the CRM system and appropriate relationships are tracked in coordination with the Client Relations team.
- Assist with tracking current and ongoing clients.
- Assist with tracking attorney speaking engagements including proactively monitoring for scheduled speaking engagements and future opportunities.
- Support the Client Relations team with firm events and client dinners
- Support client relations team with research projects for practice groups and social media competitive analysis.
- Assist with additional projects as needed.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in use of Adobe Professional.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
- Ability to foster a positive work environment.
- Ability to provide support for detailed and complex projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Flexible team player willing to collaborate with others to accomplish required tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of one year of professional services or law firm experience, preferably.
- Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, etc.
Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz provides competitive compensation and benefits to its employees, ensuring that we attract and retain the most talented individuals. The expected base salary for this role ranges from $70,000 – $75,000. The base salary offer is based on a variety of factors which includes, but is not limited to, qualifications, education and experience.
