Client OverviewOur client is a well‑established corporate organization in New York City seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Mailroom Associate to join their internal Mailroom / Messenger Center. This role supports daily mail and shipping operations in a fast‑paced, professional office environment and is ideal for someone with prior corporate mailroom or facilities experience who takes pride in operational accuracy and internal customer service.

Position OverviewThe Mailroom Associate will support high‑volume mailroom operations, including processing incoming and outgoing mail, coordinating shipments, and distributing materials across departments. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a structured corporate setting. The position is fully onsite and offers the opportunity for permanent conversion.
Responsibilities of the Mailroom Associate- Support daily mailroom and messenger center operations in a corporate office.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Prepare shipments using Fed Ex, UPS, and other courier platforms.
- Track shipments and ensure accurate documentation.
- Distribute internal mail and packages across departments.
- Provide professional customer service to internal staff at all levels.
- Maintain organization and efficiency in a high‑volume environment.
- Partner with mailroom and facilities team members to ensure coverage and workflow continuity.
- 1‑3 years of mailroom or facilities experience in a corporate environment.
- Hands‑on experience with Fed Ex and UPS shipping systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Customer‑service‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional demeanor and reliability.
- Experience supporting large corporate offices or headquarters.
- Familiarity with high‑volume mailroom operations.
- High school diploma required.
