Our client, a global media organization is seeking a Senior Legal Assistant to join its New York legal team. This is a highly visible role with a core focus on corporate governance and administrative support, while also providing broader legal and operational assistance to a team of legal professionals.
Responsabilities:
- Manage corporate secretarial functions including books, records, minutes, consents, and state filings
- Monitor corporate compliance and respond to government filings and legal notifications
- Manage calendars, travel, expenses, and general office administration
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and meeting materials
- Support contract management, M&A due diligence, and intercompany agreements
- Assist with KYC requests, litigation support, legal research, and document production
- Review and coordinate responses to subpoenas, complaints, and lawsuits
- Manage legal databases, document management systems, and standard forms
- Support trademark administration and risk management oversight
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 6+ years of legal or high-level professional administrative experience, preferably at a global company
- Corporate governance experience required; certification a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
Workiva, SharePoint, iManage, and Xflow a plus - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity and professional ethics
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
